TESS CHODAN
|
Tess creates artworks using antique insect specimens from historical collections: butterflies, moths, beetles, dragonflies and honeybees, combining them with antique objects and embroidered textiles. Her work celebrates the tradition of collecting, reflects on memory and preservation, fragility and time, and is inspired by a deep connection with the natural world. All specimens are strictly non-endangered and sustainably-sourced and all works are accompanied by a numbered certificate of provenance.

CAT CROXFORD
|
Cat was born into an artistic family and her artistic practice started as a portraitist, together with teaching art at her family’s studio.
All her paintings are inspired by real places in and around the South of England, The woods of her childhood hold the same allure as an adult, but she now has a better understanding of the complex network of trees and fungus that create a living breathing time-rich space. |
